Word Reimagined platform source (the artifact itself)

The Sovereign Publishing Manifesto makes claims about itself: ten typed content collections, three editorial chambers, a global draft gate, owned RSS, four runtime dependencies. Those are the most checkable claims in the document, because the artifact is right there.

They are also the ones that rotted. The manifesto shipped saying “Five total dependencies,” which was correct. Twenty-one minutes later a commit whose message read fix changed it to “Four” to match a canon document rather than the artifact. package.json said five. It stayed wrong for weeks.

That was resolved on 2026-07-14 in the honest direction: GSAP had zero references anywhere in src/, orphaned by the Living Wire rebuild. Removing it made the published sentence true without editing a word of the prose.

Standing rule this record exists to enforce: the artifact beats the doc describing it. Runtime dependencies are now four, and that number is published in public doctrine. Adding a dependency means editing a public document.
