PRIVACY POLICY

What we collect

When you submit one of our signup forms, we capture:

• Your email address (required)
• Your name (optional)
• Which page you submitted from (source attribution)
• A submission timestamp (automatic, recorded by our form host)

We do not capture or store IP addresses, browsing history, location data, or device identifiers via our signup forms.

The corrections form at /corrections captures what you type into it: the page you are flagging, the error you are reporting, the document you cite, and an email address only if you choose to give one. Submissions are stored by our form host (Netlify Forms), are read for the sole purpose of checking the record, and can be deleted on request in the same way as signup submissions.

How we use it

We use the email address to send Word Reimagined dispatches and chamber updates if and when we begin sending them. We are not currently sending newsletters; submissions are being collected for future correspondence only.

We use the source attribution to understand which entry point a reader came from, so that future correspondence can be relevant to the chamber they signed up under.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do not run advertising on Word Reimagined.

How it’s stored

Submissions are stored by our form host (Netlify Forms) for the purpose of compiling our subscriber list. We export and back up the list periodically. Newsletter sending runs through Substack (wordreimagined.substack.com): signup submissions are added to that list, and dispatches go out from there. Substack’s handling of subscriber data is governed by its own privacy policy; you can unsubscribe from any dispatch, and a deletion request to us removes you from both Netlify and Substack.

How to delete your information

To remove your email address from our list, send a deletion request to privacy@apollobenzproductions.com with the subject line “Delete my information.” We will confirm and remove the record within 14 days.

You do not need to give a reason. You do not need to be a current subscriber. Anyone whose information we hold can request its removal.

Compliance posture

We collect minimal information for a specific purpose (publication correspondence) and we delete on request. If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with applicable data-protection law, the request mechanism above is how you exercise your rights under that law.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date will reflect the change.
