Traceability maps how records move through collection, interpretation, and publication so every step remains auditable.
Word Reimagined uses traceability as a publication rule, not a decorative feature. If a claim cannot be walked back to a source record in custody, it does not belong in the file as settled fact.
Scope
- Casefile claims
- Theme-level evidence references
- Source pages that carry the underlying record forward into the public ledger
Chain Of Evidence
- Source record exists.
- Theme or casefile links to that source by real internal ID.
- Reader can move back from the public argument to the custody ledger without guessing.
Accountability Points
- Broken internal references are integrity failures, not cosmetic bugs.
- Reverse-links matter because the archive must show where a source is being used.
- Publication status matters because a public casefile should not point to a sealed or placeholder jurisdiction room.
Verification Notes
- Every published Erased episode should expose live theme links.
- Every trace record item should resolve to a real internal source page.
- Every relevant source page should show which Erased episodes and published themes currently depend on it.
