The printed hearing record. The session of Tuesday, June 12, 1956 carries Paul Robeson’s testimony, including “you are the nonpatriots, and you are the un-Americans and you ought to be ashamed of yourselves” (no comma after “un-Americans,” checked on the page image) and “my father was a slave, and my people died to build this country.”
