The public report of the board’s decision to appeal, six days before RESTORED published.
The vote, verbatim: “The board voted 6-0 to retain appellate counsel and pursue an appeal of the final order and judgement issued Aug. 6.” Both reports place the vote on a Thursday night, which was August 13, 2026; neither prints that date, so the house cites the report date, August 14.
